今日早晨，散步间或跑步到实验室。天气有点燥热，再加上在coinstar处理以前积攒的cent,dime,penney耽误了一些时间，心里有些闷躁。刚处理完硬币，继续前行，刚走出不到200米的距离，在等红绿灯时，我发现一辆10路公交与我并肩同行，心里想如果可以现在坐上BUS该是多么美好的事情啊，就可以立即离开这闷热的空气。

BU jumped five spots in the latest ranking of the best “global universities” by U.S. News & World Report, rising to 32 from last year’s 37.

U.S. News says that it launched this ranking, which includes 750 schools from 57 countries (up from last year’s 500 schools in 49 countries), in view of the many students opting to attend college abroad. The magazine considered a dozen factors in measuring the schools’ “academic research performance” and “global and regional reputations.” Among the criteria were publications and books, citations of faculty research, collaboration with international peers, and number of PhDs awarded by the institution.

In compiling the rankings, the publication relied in part on analytics from ThomsonReuters, a multinational firm researching and assessing scholarship and its worldwide influence.

BU ranked just behind the University of Tokyo and immediately ahead of the University of British Columbia, New York University, Ohio State University, Washington University in St. Louis, and Germany’s Heidelberg University. The top four universities were all American: Harvard, MIT, Berkeley, and Stanford.

Last month, U.S. News ranked BU 41st on its list of the 50 top US universities.

在美国生活学习了将近一年，这次短暂回国对中美文化和社会的差异深有感触。
中国人多车多，美国人少车多。美国车让人，中国人让车。
在美国救护车，消防车，警车执行任务时有绝对的第一行驶权，所有车辆行人自觉让道，不管你的车是在等红灯与否。当我第一次看到这种让道的情形的时候，我大为吃惊。国内的情况就不评价了。
美国空气好，食品安全有保障。目前国内雾霾的情况还是常有。
美国人诚信的程度要高。你的签名比任何东西都重要，国内是盖了红章亦不一定为真。
美国的人际关系比较简单，没有什么送礼等等一说，一张贺卡比任何物质的给予都重！
......
关于中美文化的差异估计还有很多很多，大家之前可能也有耳闻。此处吾只是自己设身处地的经历和感受写出来。
说目前美国比我们优秀的地方，并不是说我不爱国。而我更爱自己的国家，只是经历了之后觉得有些方面我们需要做更多的事情，有好的方面我们可以好好借鉴。
愿我的祖国越来越强大，越来越美好！

新的住处是house中的一个apt，还不错。唯一缺憾的一点就是淋浴房太小了，还好我比较瘦，以后要是胖了，恐怕就很难转个弯了。呵呵。
